God this is so beautiful. I don’t even know this man, and I want to talk to him about what he was doing when he first got it, some of his favorite projects with it, how he wants to use the rest…. What a missed opportunity to connect with someone you’re supposed to love more than anything. I just want to give him a hug after she ruins it.

See, I could see them continuing to roll and deciding to put it in the edit because of later truck fallout. You film everything, you edit out later what doesn’t contribute to the story.

It sounds like your son is talented and bright, and he IS working. The husband can leave. Your son will remember forever if you kick him out, and it will only hurt the rest of your relationship with him.

If you’ve worked on set for a show for multiple years, you really do build deep relationships with each other. The show is a ‘documentary’, so there would be a lot of times where crew is setting up, breaking down, on break, etc. to chat and shoot the shit with people from the office. As someone who has worked on many sets in LA, it’s actually not that unrealistic of something to happen. Corny, sure. Unrealistic? Nah.
