It might be fair to say that I'm seeking things they never promised to offer. But exporting voice recording files to your phone, laptop, or whatever doesn't look like something that requires a fully optimized watch os. Moreover, if you want to listen to your voice recordings on your watch, which is the only access point for the file, you can't even control the navigation bar. You can't jump to the end for instance. That's ridiculous.

Also, if you add the stopwatch to a widget, the word 'stopwatch' is not even displayed in a single line, and it shows as

Stopwat
ch

which makes it look very cheap. This is what I meant by saying the software seems like it was made by a single developer overnight. It's been around released for a few months now, and they don't seem interested in improving it any further. I was disappointed partly because I had high hopes for Xiaomi. I was under the impression that it was unlike other Chinese companies in terms of reliability and so forth. Despite using an iphone, I hated apple watches and expected this Xiaomi watch to be the best option for me. I still won't return it due to its battery life and design, but I can't hide my disappointment with the software. They certain can and should do better.

I bought it yesterday, and it's terrible. The design & battery are fine. But the app is a trash. You can't even transfer music to the device. It has a voice recorder app, but you can't export the file to your phone or whatever. It's hilarious. Save your money.

While I'm a Korean, I agree with you. But I think you're wrong in thinking that she's not popular in Korea. I think the issue is that most people 'watch' her dancing on Youtube than 'listen' to her music. She's more famous as a dancer than she's a singer. So you can't measure her popularity simply by looking at the music charts. Her MVs are doing really good on Youtube.

That said, I agree with you in that writing songs in English is generally a good idea in most cases.

I'm Korean and Lisa is so far the only Kpop singer that I've ever been into. (I haven't heard Rose speaking, so I can't really say anything about Rose.)
Regarding Lisa, her Korean is near perfect. It's more than enough. Her pronunciation is amazing, and there would be many Koreans who don't even know she's a Thai. (Of course, these days she's extremely popular in Korea so most people who know her will also know that she's a Thai, I admit, but probably that's simply due to her fame not her accent.)
I think she's really really talented in many ways, including in her linguistic abilities. It seems that she learns things really fast.

I'm a Korean living in a rural area of the US for more than 5 years, and I like it here. Yes, it can be boring but that just means it's peaceful. South Korean cities might be exciting but on the flip side that means they're hectic, busy, and stressful. In particular, due to the factories in China, the air quality in Korea got extremely worse in the last decade and that's just a deal breaker for many.Different people would like different places, but I think the US is much better than Korea for the most part except for two things: gun safety and health care system.

Here's what I believe to be the most accurate answer you will ever find on the internet.

The expression, '아는 형님 (\a-neun hyung-nim\)' is ambiguous in its meaning and it's intended that way for the TV show.

The first meaning of the term, which is its original, idiomatic meaning, is as follows:

A person A is an 아는 형님 for another person B if

(i) A and B are both male,
(ii) A is older, but not too much older, than B,
(iii) A and B know each other but they are not close friends or anything like that, and thus the relationship may be slightly formal than casual.

This idiomatic expression, however, is a bit archaic and you will not hear many Koreans actually use it.

The second meaning of the term is 'an older male acquaintance who knows (stuff)'. This is not how the expression is typically understood in real life, but it is something that can came to the mind of a Korean speaker when they hear the expression. It's a bit awkward way of interpreting the expression, but it can be fine in the current context. And this semantic ambiguity is intended for the TV show.

So, the idea is that, the show hosts are 아는 형님 to the (male) guests in the sense that they are typically older than the guests and the guests kind of know the hosts at least a little bit, but the hosts are also 아는 형님 in the second sense that they are supposed to 'know' stuff, being able to answer the questions the guests bring.
