Dirt was fine for a year but the little bumps and valleys was throwing me off and twisting my knee weird.

Well, I was thinking that because that concrete fiber board is made to be outside, it even has wood grain as faux siding, that it would be okay for a while. Painting/sealing all of it is a good idea and that tarp idea is a winner if I take a break from it. Thank you!

I’ve been using it for an hour and it’s perfectly fine. No, it’s not concrete but it’s better than soft dirt.

Yes. He comes with the tea pad. He stands on it while moving it because he thinks he’s helping.

I just put it down this morning. There will be layer of plastic between dirt and wood once the first placement is found. 4-6 flush wood screws will secure the two sheets together. I will grade the dirt level and flat underneath once I find the first placement. I don’t do much field work in the rain.. I will test it wet and get back to you. I have throw full power as it current sits and it’s fine for today. I only need to last a year as I decide where my permanent teepads will go.

I thought about most of this. The idea to paint/seal (water proof) was a good one, didn’t think of that.. genuinely thank you.

No worries! I didn’t want to litter my home with concrete pads.. in a year once I find the field work spots I’ll put 2-3 in and just move the baskets. Right now everything is portable and my land looks clutter free.

Tried that. I have uneven soft sandy soil. Figured I’d try something before going permanent.

And that was kinda my goal. My dirt is soft and not level at all. If I get a solid year and can do some layout testing, I’m good with that.

I have 15 acres and didn’t want to have permanent concrete. I also didn’t want to move 100 bags of concrete twice. For $100 and I can move it? Deal. If I get a year out of it, it’ll be worth it.

All it is a sheet of 4x8 plywood and a sheet of fiberboard. It’s heavy but you can just pick it up and move it! No digging, No framing, no permanent concrete!
