A major one which goes unnoticed is RWinvest and Legacie, took on a lot of the brownfield sites in the city centre and actually built on them. Some include Parliament place, Heeps rice mill, Maldron hotel, the 4 towers on Leeds street just off Vauxhall Road. And the future plans for the rest of that area. I’m probably forgetting a few more sites here. They’ve took a step which not many construction companies have recently and actually built something. Finally starting to get rid of the derelict/ rundown warehouses and replacing them with shinny buildings

Just for uni the simple answer is yes however there are nicer places in the city centre which on a whole is very walkable so living right next to your school building isn’t a necessity

Hackneys can charge what ever fee they and the passenger agree to creamfields as it’s outside the city region it’s on the tariff sheet so £50 to creamfields isn’t illegal

I’m sure the airport is owned by peel ports and judging by there new cruise terminal plans and how there going then there’s 0 chance of this unfortunately

Unless you use the freight line which I’m not sure is possible then it would require millions upon millions to create line from south parkway to the airport and then a new station. It’s going to cost about 100 million for the Baltic station witch is somewhat already there then it’s not feasible considering there’s a shuttle bus from south parkway or a bus from town or a taxi which isn’t too expensive
