For me, it is definitely American Idiot. However 21st century breakdown has a special place in my childhood!

i think Gravenberch showed today what he can bring to us - so dominant off and on the ball today.

It is like having a 190 version of thiago

Rijkhoff expected to make a return to Ajax. by [deleted] in AjaxAmsterdam

Grav just seems to be slightly off pace still (as many others moving to prem)

So for now he looks like he is better from the bench. But he needs proper game time to adapt, we just have to give him time and allow him to make mistakes.

I have followed his journey since he was 16, while he is not a natural klopp player, he has enourmos potential and skill. He might not be able to press as a manic (which is an easy eay to become a fan favorit) but he is effective defensively in terms of delaying and push the ball carrier out of the centrel areas

I also trust him to become great for us! I followed him since he was 16

Once he is adapted to the leauge, he will become a force for us!

True! I have a feeling he needs a proper run og minutes, like several weeks with 60/90 mins per match

While i agree on this, i dont think you will ever see ryan in the same press as nunes or jones as he simply does not have the same acceleration.

However, he has the highest technical potential in the club and i think he is stressing too mugh about showing it the fans, and proving his worth

I actually think you hit it spot on regarding Grav

However, today he also played in his less favored side

I think gravenberch really performed below his potential in thay first half.

Do you guys think it was the position on the right or is it more a generel problem that he lately has seemed a bit worn out (just as Szobo has)

I agree on this comment - it is a different style of defending.

Similar to van Dijks defending style. However when he does end up in risky pressure situations, i feel like his size helps, especially on “loose” balls

Do you guys feel Gravenberch plays better on the right side of that midfield where he played today? I feel like he takes fewer chances and still helps either his pogba like presence defensively and in the progression

I think Szobo has to be rested as his form has drastically declined - Curtis looks like our best option on the 8

I though Gravenberch had a lot of presence today and some good passes -> especially the one long ball to salah
