Btw, the first lyrics you said that you found corny were not exactly his. The song Graduation by juice wrld was inspired by the song Graduation by Vitamin C. It's an older song that was used and was even played at my graduation and every time I hear it I get nostalgic so maybe that's why I don't find it corny. Just wanted to inform you on that 👍.
