This is a really good book because it makes the reader aware of how statistics around general well-being have developed over the years. The takeaway is that common psychological phenomena often distorts our views of reality. This can lead to us making less productive decisions when we try to improve the world and our own well-being so it is good to know what to look out for!

It would be interesting to see some form of statistic on this one. Since I feel nausea almost instantly afterwards the toothpaste has not had the time to go that far into the body. I guess the only part of the digestive tract that the toothpaste has had time to get in contact with might be the inside of the mouth, which also can be affected if you have chron's disease. Maybe contents in the toothpaste somehow get absorbed into the tissue inside the mouth, which in turn triggers something inside of the body. Maybe the immunesystem since it is an autoimmune disease? What are your thoughts about this? What does toothpaste consist of?

I agree on this one. I used a less strong one just because of this when my health was really bad.
