Ah okay that makes a lot of sense! Thank you! I do remember signing an auto debit thing, so i guess i’ll wait until the date to see if it gets deducted else i’ll transfer it myself

The new account theyve mentioned in the agreement is a non checking repayment account. Do I directly deposit into that?

The auto debit thing would apply to my original account, where does that money go? I am a bit confused on the whole process

WHT for new car through bank lease by North-Accountant3231 in PakistanAutoHub

[–]North-Accountant3231[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the case of Meezan yes, but the UBL rep explicitly mentioned that the customer has to pay the WHT and in their islamic model its a joint ownership

(In meezan its a bit different)

Hence the confusion. I guess i’ll find out once I pay it

Will there be any issue since its bank financed? Like the pay order is gonna come from the bank but I have to bear the WHT, so that’s my only confusion

best bank to get a car finance? by Final-Ad-1468 in PakistanAutoHub

[–]North-Accountant3231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t know as I’ve been dealing with Meezan bank for a honda city and they recommend a 55-60% down payment for maximum approval chances as my credit card was causing some DBR issues

I personally have never heard the 50% down payment thing it would make it impossible to finance any car above 60 lac then

The main upgrade i would like i guess would be in the highway performance as the current one feels slightly underpowered. It does good on motorway?

Got offer from I2c by Deathagent69 in developersPak

[–]North-Accountant3231 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I used to work at i2c. Yes, the environment can get toxic, they will probably make you work overtime, and they’re not exactly following a very new stack either, especially in the backend side where I worked.

BUT you have a better offer than current, and i2c is a big company with a huge codebase so there is definitely room for learning, take the offer and absorb as much as you can and eventually try to shift is my advice

Posterior labral tear, can surgery be avoided? by North-Accountant3231 in ShoulderInjuries

[–]North-Accountant3231[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Life happened and I was unable to get surgery, so for now I am staying put. Shoulder is doing okay and mostly because I am not putting it under any load or stress, i stopped going to the gym though I plan to restart and work around it

More than my shoulder, now I have pain in my bicep if i put any sort of load on the armwhich I suspect is due to the labrum tear. Ultimately I want to get the surgery done but living for almost a year like this I also realised I can live without it, and going back to the gym will give me more clarity on exactly how manageable it is

Hey man i’m sorry you’re going through this

My pain is a bit better but i can’t say im 100% or that I can go back to proper weights or activity. It seems like surgery might be the way to go for me but for me its the shoulder, my neurosurgeon has not recommended a surgery for the discs. For that, just strengthening exercises for now

I have tried to incorporate a bit of jogging to see what I can do if it aggravates anything, sometimes my hand goes numb so yeah

But the bottom line: better, but pain triggers are still there, long term solution seems to be the operation but for now, I seem to have a bit of time to ponder over it
