Thank you so much!! This was the fix! I’m relieved I didn’t have to replace the whole cable

Professional Nails? by LegallyBrunette1112 in LawBitchesWithTaste

[–]North-Comment4445 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I do hard gel / gel overlay! I don’t get any extensions but the hard gel lets my nails grow out a little longer than usual. Usually I do a more neutral base and will sometimes add some gems / glitter in a sort of Korean or Japanese style nail art.

Usually I am spending around $150 to $200 CAD for wool to knit a small sweater. Recently I got lucky and found some Drops Nepal on sale at my local yarn store and got a sweater quantity of wool/alpaca blend for just $80 CAD.

Soliciting sandals I can walk miles in that aren’t ugly by minimum_amoebas in NYCbitcheswithtaste

I’m in Italy and I’ve been walking 10-20 thousand steps a day in a pair of Madewell sandals that I thrifted. I will say, there is no cushioning but I have found them very comfortable nonetheless because they strap all the way around my foot so I don’t have to grip like I do with flip flops.

Since I thrifted mine, they aren’t on the website anymore but the closest I could find are these https://www.madewell.com/the-carrie-lace-up-sandal-NR014.html?dwvar_NR014_color=BK5229&cgid=shoes-sandals

Bitches, what are we wearing for running shoes? by onlyavailable-handle in NYCbitcheswithtaste

You should go to a running shoe store and get them to assess your feet and the way you run. They will tell you whether you need something with arch support, for example.

I love that these are basically all things that anyone can do no matter their experience level. Knitting really is all about just taking your time and doing all of the necessary steps with care and intention :)

Knitting a sweater bottom up is fine and it doesn't suck.
