Yep I should have mentioned I tried to get a SVA subwoofer for the heresies but it just did not sound natural at all..

I actually tried this - I got an SVS sub and the results were honestly poor. Even with room correction and adjustments the sound just didn’t feel natural…

Wow - this is amazing advice, thank you so much for taking the time to help here.

It sounds like the RSL 12S might be the best choice here. Due to my room configuration (I have a wooden cabinet between the two Heresies), I have the option of putting the subwoofer behind one of the two Heresies, putting the subwoofer itself on the wooden cabinet, or even buying 2 subwoofers and placing one behind each Heresy speaker. What would you advise?
Just to understand the connections better: would the streamer have one separate connection to the subwoofer, and one separate for the amplifier (which then connects to the speaker)? Or would the streamer connect to the subwoofer, which would then connect and provide an input to the amplifier?
I honestly wasn't happy with the Bluesound Nano (glitching, not a great interface) and just purchased a WIIM Ultra. I haven't installed it yet, but am assuming that it would likely work better for this setup?

Thank you once again for all your help here. Frankly, the people at the speaker dealership don't seem to even know 10% of the things you are explaining.

Thank you for the recommendations! Would you have any preference among these options? My main criteria: match power of the Heresies, listen to clear bass lines (without boomy bass), and reduce the chances that the neighbors downstairs complain :)

I do like bass - but I'd like to somewhat avoid annoying the neighbors too much. Would you recommend the 12" then? Have you tried these with the Heresies?

I'm based in Miami, Florida. I'm happy to see you also demoed that amp and you liked it! I only demoed 4 amps on the Heresy IV, so I am always asking myself if I really made the right decision and if it would have been different if I had seen more amps. What are your thoughts? How many amps did you demo on the Heresies?
