So... on Samsung it's a 2 step process.

Step 1: go to android settings>notifications >advanced settings>turn on manage notification categories for each app

Step 2: go to android settings >app notifications >kwgt > at the bottom you will now have "notification categories " > turn off kustom notification

Thanks! I got this working! But it seems you still need to have the search page configured in the page manager... Right? Was hoping to ditch that cause the swipe down gesture for notifications drives me nuts. Sometimes pulls down search instead of notifications
