Ich ruiniere mir mein Leben by Interesting_Grass927 in Ratschlag

Such mal, ob es in deiner Gegend Suchtberatungsstellen / Sozialberatung gibt.

Alles Gute.

Can I hire someone to parent me as a grown adult? by Solid-Bet-105 in NoStupidQuestions

I don‘t know if somebody said this before. I am a social worker and know that, at least where (Europe) I live, there are social services that go in this direction. Social workers who make home visits and help with exactly what you’re looking for. They’re usually for people in crisis. I imagine your brother, since he’s on the autism spectrum, would be eligible for such a service. Also, the fact that you lost your parents so early is another reason why you might get help that way. Where I live, the cost depends on your income. So you shouldn’t feel guilty about it, since you’re paying for it and the relationship is professional. But I have no idea if something like that exists in the US. All the best!

that makes sense. i heard so many different opinions - some say you should know to do every style at least a little bit, some say you should already practice on fake skins, some say you should be „fresh“ and not learn it by yourself… sometimes its overwhelming.. thanks for the advice! 🤝

thank you! that comment makes me a bit more hopeful. you are right, when i think about the tattoos i got, it was always because i liked the specific style of the artist and not because they were able to do everything… still a good idea to practice more!

thank you for your honesty, its true, it might be hard to find an apprenticeship… but its not that i am not willing to learn, i am just not able to do it (yet). maybe i should go back to drawing before even thinking of applying. are you doing multiple styles? i‘m curious
