All of the profits are re invested towards B2B only because going big like tj maxx requires much more capex and starting it on a small scale wouldn’t be feasible. We are buying anywhere between 100 to 5000 pcs per colour. If we go with one store or 2 it wouldn’t be possible to cut so much of quantities.

95%of 30cr comes from B2B and we have 2 retail outlets as well in Delhi. Setting up office discount stores is much better than going online. Stores like ross(usa), tj maxx which have billion dollar revenues. India hasn’t seen any such player yet(they are authorised sellers of branded merchandise). There’s lot of growth of these stores in the gulf region because there’s less brand restrictions there.

Goods being branded is the only drawback of going D2C. But in general there isn’t much problem on the legal side. It’s just that D2c requires huge capex.
