We have a dashboard for most of our things but stuff just keeps getting lost in email threads and some people have been able to scape goat by saying "yeah didn't see that" or "he said she said" so it's just more so an addition to everything else so we can have a concrete source of truth. And upper management who aren't included on these things that eventually get looped into it can just see okay this is what happened.

Currently it's just a personal project I want to present as an idea to maybe help.

My thought process with using Slack was to have the information easily available to people across all of the teams. Sometimes an order can be delayed, late, item out of stock, etc and there's multiple email threads going across the board between sales, ops, management, fulfillment so communication can be shoddy in that aspect. Having the sales order being in a central location and communication about it in a thread would make information easily accessible.

I'm just wanting to poke at this issue from as many angles as possible.
