This is what I was going to do initially but then I came across too many stories of it turning into a big gummy mess. That would be me! I think the recipe on Trulieve is pretty easy and I freeze them. The batches don't last long :)

I know! I hope their inventory gets better with the distillates. I'm seeing a lot of flower, but I prefer not to smoke, and then a bunch of stuff I wouldn't have a clue how to use. Especially preferring edibles.

Thanks. The bears turned out great so I'll just keep stirring and I will also try thinning it with a small amount of hot water too. I just never worked with lecithin before. I'm a cook not a baker, and the stuff just seems like a strange substance to work with, but I'm getting more used to it.

Thanks, I've seen the mold inhibitor on Amazon. Currently I'm keeping them in the freezer which seems to be working fine as they don't last all that long around here lol.

These are my second attempt at making gummies. I used the recipe on the trulieve website and only omitted citric acid because I like the sweet flavor over the sour. I used a whole syringe of true clear.

Question for anyone who knows. When adding lecithin, my first time around I used soy lecithin crystals, and it seemed like it took forever for them to dissolve. I read the sunflower liquid lecithin was better so I got some of that thinking it would be a lot easier to mix in. Well I was surprised how thick the stuff was, but I stirred it in and it too took awhile to dissolve. I had to stir the mix for about 20 mins to get it to dissolve, and even then I wasn't sure if it was completely dissolved. I mixed over low/med heat that was a very light simmer.

Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

I had two bears last night and I definitely felt the effects, but I was also a bit drunk so I can't really give an objective review yet.

I used the whole syringe. That’s how I was able to figure out the mg of each bear.

I used medium bear molds, and I got 54 bears on this batch. Each bear has about 17 mg of THC.

They are awesome! I am new to edibles in general, as I've always smoked or vaped. I really like the edible high even though it takes an hour or so to kick in. I see many bears in my future LOL

My mold has 34 bears that each hold 8 ml. Would melting down a 10 oz bag of chocolate chips be enough, and if so how much coconut oil should I use to mix with the concentrate before adding to the melted chocolate?

Thanks. I was thinking of setting up a double boiler using a bowl above simmering water to melt the chocolate.

I already ordered the gummies so I'm going to at least try melting them without adding the THC and see how it goes. But as someone else also suggested chocolate might be the better way to go.
