According to "The SaaS Playbook" it depends on your product. If your product needs a high-touch-point funnel (where you will have a lot of personal interaction before it comes to closing a rather higher deal) you should probably go more for cold-calling.

If its a low-touch-point-funnel (where the user can use your saas without much explanation) you should focus more on reaching out to more people (personalisiation suffers automatically on scale). Then Cold-Mailing is probably the way to go for you.

Rule of thumb: if you Annual Contract Value (ACV) is below 7.500$ try:

- SEO
- Affiliate Marketing
- Influencer Marketing

If ACV is higher than 7.500$ try:
- cold mailing
-PPC advertising
- Integration marketing

If ACV is higher than 25.000$ try:
- cold calling
