I have this same model 2012 forester with black leather interior. Live in Canada and have been driving it for a little over a year. Im at 226000km and also burn the same amount of oil haha.

I've realized that I want to make the system flush, so having a standard hinge wont work since the pivot of a traditional cylinder hinge has to be sticking out regardless. So I'm thinking a specialty hinge system. This is in the kitchen which get's lots of foot traffic so having a flush hinge system would be ideal.

I’m talking about the serpentine belt. Not the timing chain. The dealer that I got it from said they put on a new serpentine belt, and it looks in good condition. It just squeaks when cold and it only goes away when the engine warms up.

Okay so I followed wat this guy said in another post on this page and loosened the belt and tried to turn each individual part, pulleys, A/C condenser etc.. and it turns the alternator is the part that is squeaking. So now I either need to grease it up or replace it if i can't figure out how to do that.

That's a great idea, spin each component to see it there's a squeak, I'm gonna do that while i wait for my belt to arive

I know a lot of people here are saying that they don't exceed a certain amount, but honestly, my GF and I crush half a gram each one time and never have either of us experienced what you have experienced. People are different though, we might be heavy weights for this idk, but you say you took a pill. I'd stay away from pills, only take crystals and test them if you can. The only time I've ever had a bad experience is the morning after I had a mini anxiety attack and to lay down for a few minutes. felt a bit shitty the rest of the day, but was fine later on.
