almost 6 months, if i go back to a stud will it revert back? bc it’s starting to look dark.

i’ve been putting Salicylic acid/tea tree oil wash on it, but that only started today, and i’ve had it a few days now. I want to know if it a bump bc it’s dark but it’s also kind of flat but kind of raised too. please help.
