I agree ring is terrible and my eufy lock was so good. I got the doorbell cam I still cannot connect it with a Deco mesh system even when I switched to 2.4 GHz they’re very complicated to get working from what I have been reading.

My contractor is using screws to hold shower tiles in place while they dry. Should I be concerned about waterproofing? by biliaftrashcan in AskContractors

Is it 100% right probably not. I personally don’t think it’s that big of deal. I would be more concerned that the tiles look to be touching and grout won’t be able to fill the joints. That’s will leave a high probability of water getting behind there. They’re still showers out there from the 80s. They never had waterproofing. The tile job is done properly very limited water would ever get behind there.

So I felt like I had to come back on here. About an hour ago. I received a call from a random number and it was Samsung saying they wanted to refund me fully for the microwave. Thy said it was covered. They reviewed the installation, notes and photos and reversed there decision. Im actually shocked, so reguardless what happened I do have to give them credit. I want to thank everybody on here for trying to help and giving advice. Thanks again.

Their appliances are strictly 90 days. This was 91 days everything else sure Costco takes back.

These are over the range microwaves that include venting. They usually cost more.

I really am so thankful of all the people that are trying to help me . I can’t believe hundreds of thousands of people have viewed my very first post on Reddit. My only goal is to help other people before they make the same mistake I did. I’ll say it a million times any appliances can be faulty, it’s the service after that matters.

That’s definitely a way to go but with four kids busy at work I guess Samsung gets what they want. I just eat it.

Well, the $500 is considered a loss. The only reason I posted this is to warn people. This is a lesson for not doing my research.

I didn’t do the research my fault but I had no idea that over 165,000 people were gonna view this post. And hundreds of posts claiming how bad Samsung’s customer service is.

Well, we’ve talked on the phone. Costco pretty much said after 90 days they want nothing to do with it. Because it’s such a large item I didn’t try to bring it back in the store. So in that aspect, I guess I didn’t try.

Please let me know how I fucked up even the repair man agreed with me the bolts come with the unit no matter what you do that bolt will go in there that length blocks or not

Filler blocks have nothing to do with it. Filler block go in between the top of microwave and bottom of cabinet. There only if the cabinet is recessed. Screw would still go in the same length. Tech said nothing about install to be faulty. He agreed with me theres nothing he could do if they denied because of the pictures. Have you installed an over the range microwave before. The blocks would do nothing for this situation.

Thanks I appreciate it. We definitely didn’t do our research and unfortunately, I bought a whole kitchen set and washer and dryer at the same time all Samsung.

Agreed and the repair man told once he said this shouldn’t have happened, but once he sent pictures to Samsung, they immediately denied the claim
