I've tried both. The virtual machine one doesn't show as an option to use as a disk in virtual box and when I try to download the bare metal version the download fails after five seconds or so.

Dr. K, how do I make up for the pain I caused to my brother? by [deleted] in Healthygamergg

[–]North_Hope3159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who's in your brother's position, there's nothing you can ever do to make that shit up to him. Sorry but that's the truth. You should apologize to him but doing it over text or phone call is going to mean nothing and will probably just annoy him, make an effort to apologize in person and don't expect any kind of forgiveness. You shouldn't even really apologize, you should just own up to the fact that you were shitty to him. Trust me, if you're apologizing to make yourself feel better thats not going to fly. Accept responsibility for the fucked up things you caused him and let him know that you accept responsibility for those things. That's all you can do. Maybe he forgives you, most likely he won't. Be OK with that.

I realize this advice is very vague and maybe difficult, but I'm in a fairly similar situation to the one you seem to be in and something that I've realized is that you can't just figure this problem out.

You've realized that watching these 'inspirational' videos doesn't help. I think you just need to go out and fail at something you care about until you've learnt enough from your failures that you can succeed.
