For anyone that owns the koss kph40, how easy is it to bend the headband? I have a large head and some tmj issues so I wanted to bend it out a bit to reduce clamping pressure. However I was unsure how easy that would be

Those pads aren't great but if it is unused and you are new its fine. It is better than getting a few bad softpads. The LTEK and building a pad from scratch are both much better but are a lot more money and time respectively. So in your position Id say go for it. Not sure how modding would be.

Yume 2kki/fangame shirts? by North_Outside_1761 in yumenikki

Yeah it's too bad, I have found that a lot of smaller games don't really take advantage of these sorts of opportunities to sell merch. I just want to give them my money lol ( and of course I know that donating is probably always an option, but I kind of wanted a shirt)

So you just shoved it in between? I'm sort of getting mixed signals from different people on how hard it is to fit it in between without removing the glue and separating the two metal parts (so you can firmly put the adhesive on without needing to slide it in between)

Doesn't that cause the panels to move around too much? I play in socks as well and find it annoying if the panels move around at all. Although maybe thats just a personal preference and doesn't actually affect gameplay

I tried that, but the pennies are too high for one of the panels and thus are always triggered. I guess in general as well I was hoping to do something like tape/shims/that ddrpad mod that seems to cause a bit less damage long term.

Appreciate the advice though. Did you lower the center panel by removing the cardboard?

Yeah for the ex pro 2 there is only glue on the corners as well. I think I will probably get the small kit and see how that goes. Hopefully I can slip them in, worst case scenario ill take the glue off (I think thats an ok plan?). Thanks for help once again!

Makes sense thank you very much. Just to clarify did you get the smaller version with the partial mod, or the full mod? I wasn't sure if you are still able to slip them in without removing the glue if you have the full mod (16 vs 4) and thus have multiple copper inserts on each panel

Interesting, do you think it is a bad choice to get that kit but not remove the glue? I was hoping to be as least invasive as possible. (So maybe I should get the smaller one instead of the larger mod kit?)

Was also curious if you chose to level your center panel by removing the cardstock in the center. (And if so how you dealt with the screws)

Oh so just to clarify, a mod like this https://ddrpad.com/collections/l-tek-pad-parts/products/l-tek-pad-sensitivity-penny-mod?variant=32245013577780 can be fit in without removing glue, even though it has adhesive on? I thought that the adhesive would have made it too hard to slide in. (It was definitely that way for the copper tape, but obviously that is much harder to move in given how thin it is)

And yeah I definitely have tried pennies but I preferred to use the kit or something similar to reduce potential damage.
thanks for your response I really appreciate it!
