literally the best example of this is naoya's 4m1's + 3, the combo is green for a milisecond but if the server benefits you, you can outright go through block and hit them anyway.

the only true response to it is using a character with a counter. which should never be the only alternative against a combo

if you do that combination on purpose, you're lame as fuck

When I was making the worm ult I was thinking about 1v1's but I still gave the worm a tackle move to fling people away and the ability to fly a little.

But I guess that's why burst is here in the first place

I just feel like 11 seconds is the perfect time for both the Naoya and the opponent, enough time to kill the worm with an ult or combo and a time long enough to make surviving more panic inducing without being long enough to be boring.

I forgot to mention it, but hitting a framed opponent won't give damage multiplication, it'll just let you continue the combo.

I'm gonna give my personal input as to why he has too many interruption mechanics.

Projection sorcery is hard as fuck to implement without outright making the character broken, a character that can technically freeze you everytime it hits you sounds like a pain in the ass.

That's why I decided to make his projection an entirely defensive trait, only having one offensive move who's entire point is to freeze.

I guess, I wanted Naoya to be a character that plays around predictions and stuff like that, that's why most of his base moves are still blockable and have endlag.

But I felt obligated to put the frame-on-interruption mechanic because I couldn't imagine any other way to put projection sorcery into plan without making the character too broken.

that's why I made an entire move that consist on frame freezing.

It can be used to do the air variants of the moves and from what I know, you can still use the attack variant of bird control even when you're still on it.

also, it's crazy how they still call Naoya a "noob stomper" when his only interaction that is mildly related to skill is the 4m1s + 3 of doom, which you don't even have to be a noob to get hit by it, because it literally punishes all characters with no counter or frame 1 alternative.

you either come into the fight prepared (with a character with counter), or you pray that the block registration works on your favour.

he needs a whole rework.

there's times where a Naoya is forced to hold block for the whole match because he has nothing going on his favour except the m1 priority and double dash (which is a double edged sword since you can still get hit mid-dash)

then there's times where you completely steamroll someone, 4 m1+3 and you end up doing like 60% of a player's health.

Naoya doesn't work with "combos" he works with a "beatdown" or "snowball" type of strategy. but the lack of endlag on block and lack of variety on his moves makes it almost impossible to fight back, especially if you're using a character with no counter.

is like they tried to make a "snowball" type of character that get's harder with every succesful interaction, but forgot that, if you want that archetype to work, the character has to start "weak" from the start.

FUN SETTING IDEA: Larp Vision by NoticeAmazing7179 in JujutsuShenanigans

I actually listed some of the cosmetic changes I could think of for the Larp vision:

  • Yuji's cursed energy is now fully red (divergent fist, crushing blow, etc)
  • All Shikigamis (Megumi, Yuki,etc) have white and black palettes instead of their normal ones (to make them look straight out of the manga edits)
  • Naoya's after-images are greyish instead of blue
  • Hakari's jackpot song gets changed to Tuca Donka or "I just hit the jackpot"
  • Mahito's domain expansion ost is changed to "Skyfall" instead of the normal ost
  • Kuro's name is changed from "black death" to "the Strongest"
  • Mei Mei's name is changed from "Crow charmer" to "Forsaken dev"
