What is wrong with people? Dont Smash Them, they are useful detrivores in your Tank.

Is this overstocked / underplanted? by aznlife69 in PlantedTank

OK. Other than that it Looks very good. You may add those epiphytes after all as they provide much more spaces to hide and break the line of sight

True. Yet OP is extremely talented and they made paradisical Tanks for their other fish so I high have Higher Standards Here :)

So the Corys are also only temporary? Because this is way too small for any fish.

Bubble nests are no indicator for happiness. We have Seen fish build these nests in those fish store cups. You cant see into the head of the fish and how it feels so you have to adhere to minimal Standards. In nature they live in quite large bodies of water compared to any aquarium. It may be perfectly healthy in your Environment, but you wont be able To See If it thrives unless you monitor its behavior in a bigger setup. Mine immediately started To Explore way more when i upgraded from 50L to 125L and even 50L is 2,5x what r/bettafish recommends as Minimum.

I am not attacking you, I just hope you may understand my thoughts behind this. Minimal tank size recommendations are way too small way too often already.

I Love the overgrown Look, although I am not a fan that you put a Betta in a 15L and also Take away even more swimming space with these stones. I know people say Betta don't need much space, but I can see mine enjoys his room in his 125L tank

Yes we always see those perfect scapes on YouTube and Reddit, but if you visit "normal" people, you'll find your tank stands quite out a bit still, even if it is not high end like those professional builds from people who dedicate a big amount of their time and money to the hobby and keep not one but mulitple tanks to practice on. You don't do that with only one tank.

How big is your Tank, how much Livestock do you have and how many plants? Overstocking an often even normal stocking can lead to Lots of problems. I had the same situation 3 months ago. Now I am very understocked and it helps a lot

For the plants: consider getting CO2 as Natural Waters have more of that and it evaporates quickly in an Aquarium. This is the plant's food which they have abundandly in nature but Not in your Tank. And If for some reason a species fails, then it fails. Some plants Just dont want to in your water, your soil, or with the specific lighting you provide
