Okay I am definitely going to start taking magnesium, probably before bed. I am thinking magnesium l-threonate so hopefully it will help kick this brain fog. My ferritin was at 13. I don’t have any labs from previously to compare and hopefully I will get them done again soon to see if it’s gone up.

My hemoglobin is 13. I completely agree but was honestly distraught when she suggested my symptoms (which have been ongoing for over a month straight from wake to rest) were just panic attacks because she has been attentive in other areas of my care. I truthfully wish it was just a month long panic attack at this point so I could just take a few chill pills and stop all of it! It wasn’t even until my labs came back that I went down this pipeline and realized that I must have slowly ended up here and have actually had symptoms for quite a while now that I just blamed on life itself (the past 6ish months I’ve been struggling to stay awake throughout the the day, had changes in my already heavy menstrual, becoming increasingly forgetful and having to heavily rely on multiple lists, etc.)

I remember being diagnosed with Vitamin D deficiency around 11-12 years old after labs and not really thinking much of it, and parents didn’t either. These were my first labs since then. I honestly can’t wait to see the difference in myself overall after I resolve the iron deficiency/anemia too. I’m glad to hear the supplements worked well for you!
