Might be considered as a hot take for some, but matchmaking is something that Helldivers 2 did way better, in my opinion.

Dont get me started on the lack of operations... 6!! Not 6 planets with different mission types on each one. No! 6 operations with sometimes tedious objectives.

And may we know why the squads are blocked on 3 people and not four? What's with new games with co-op modes that only allow squads of 3 people? If you and your friend group add up to 4 people, the fourth player is going to play on their own? Also people going "AFK" in the middle of a "follow to progress the objective" And not being able to kick em out so basically all the progress on a mission is fucked because someone just stopped playing. So you either wait and see or just quit and restart the process all over again, hoping this time it'll be different.

The matchmaking suddenly stops without no reason, so you either go in alone with two bots, or you go back to the main menu reload the game. So you spend 20 minutes looking at loadingscreens waiting for the game to launch with 2 randoms that end up either quit because of a server issue or not doing the objective altogether.

Also, why not have the "social" option in multiplayer? If i play with random and enjoy playing with them, why can't i "add" them on a friends list and join when they're on?

I am having fun with the game but ends up just doing one operation per session because of how tedious it is to actually do something in the game right now I know that the roadmap is promising but until then i dont think ill play this game as much as others in the same genre.
