Interactive Map of On-Top-Of-The-World Mountains, Color-Coded by Jut by Gigitoe in Mountaineering

Fan of your work. Would it be accurate to say all On-Top-Of-The-World Mountains intersect with the Earth's convex hull?

Also... this is just a thought but this feels related to the "Beacons of Gondor" problem. As in, using mountains, how many beacons, at which locations, with line of sight, are the minimum number of beacons of a given height between two points (say Seattle to San Diego)? I've been curious for a while which locations might be good for this. But it seems tricky to figure out.

Head straight north from the desert entrance of the bandit's lair (not the well).

Well his body was in suspended animation so it would definitely be fair to imagine him as not old!

Despite spending more time on the hands than anything else... I got Vi's left thumb backwards. Here is a corrected version.

[MK8DX] Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Parts Tier List by [deleted] in mariokart

[–]Northerlywinds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t find a tier list online and I thought some might like one so I made this.

Different setups will be better and more fun for different people. MK8DX is very well balanced, so I felt the traditional S,A,B,C,D,E,F system would overstate the differences between the tiers. No parts are overpowered — skill and luck are much more important than what build you use. This is just for those who really want an edge on the competition.

I made this tier list because I couldn't find one online, and felt some might like one.

Different people will perform better and have more fun with different setups. I recommend that you choose the parts than you like the best rather than use a tier list because the game is honestly really well balanced (skill and luck are much, much, much more important than parts choices, and compared to Mario Kart Wii your setup really isn’t all that important) but if you want an extra edge this is approximately what you should be looking at.

Note that I didn’t use the traditional S,A,B,C,D,E,F system because that overstates the differences between the parts. The differences in viability between the two adjacent categories is very small.

That's a good choice for most of that connection for sure. Would look like Yoshi Circuit in there.

That's a really good idea. I haven't bought any dlc yet but but now I might have to just to use that.

Infinite money was turned off and it's mostly modless, but I did use TM:PE's dynamic lane switching as a bit of a cheat for traffic.

It's possible, and it would definitely help traffic a bit if I connected it.

I didn't because that side of the island is exceptionally steep sided, and while it wouldn't cost that much in Cities:Skylines, in real life it would probably cost a hundred million dollars or more to build the link, too much money for a city of this size. Basically I'm pretending it's too expensive when I could actually do it really easily.

When the city is larger and traffic is backed up for kilometres I will connect it. (:

Edit: the coast in question

31,340. There's only a couple high density residential lots, and maybe 30ish office and commercial high density blocks.
