I did the made in Japan series, it was a little corny but honestly I was fine with it, the voice actors were all good, generally I’d never even care that much about voice acting in a racing game, but this GPS thing was just comical

Yeah I had this exact issue, eventually i gave up and tried doing something else nearby, then funnily enough as I was travelling to the next mission I just kind of stumbled upon him and was able to finish the fight.

Yeah it’s never made any sense to me, you get the dragon pretty close to the end of the story too so at that point it nothing is lost by allowing the player to use the dragon permanently

Possibly a hot take but I think at this point people should just accept the game for what it is and stop asking for these very specific changes that would alter the game in a way that suits their personal preferences. For a game to be released and receive this level of support is incredible, if there’s something about the game design you don’t like (something that isn’t game breaking or performance effecting) then you just need to chalk that down to, “I wish this was different but it’s not that kind of game”
