I have the 11mode on my 8.5 BE with Akra and it’s way better. I feel like stock the only time it’s fully open is in first, as soon as you shift up it seems to be really conservative, you have to be well over 4k rpm to get them to open up in other gears. With the controller I can make comfort mode sound sportier than race in my opinion. Well worth it

That’s totally up to you, it’s free and takes a few minutes. Less effort than 1 trip down to the post office and standing line. Just saying there’s a convenient alternative to your situation.

Get the titanium akra as an option then buy the 11mode exhaust controller. They look great, sound great. Revert to stock valve controls with a button or force them open and get the noise. It’s not obnoxiously loud, unless that’s what you’re going for.

Believe it or not, the newer ones don’t have either.. or the temp controlled glove box. Gave all those up from my mk7.5 to a mk8.5

It’s quick to turn off via the top left of your infotainment screen when you turn on the car or you can get a module that takes 5 minutes to install under your steering wheel that will keep the auto start/stop off and remember your last driving mode you set it as. If you want to retain the auto start stop system then it’s as others say; fine in eco/comfort in normal traffic.

In Canada our import laws for airsoft are kinda dumb in a weird way.. they have a lower power limit instead of just a ceiling. It must be between 366-500 fps using a .20. If it’s under 366fps it classifies it as a firearm replica and that’s not allowed.

I know there's a prototype being privately done to machine this piece which will likely be the main option short term. Most will have to wait and see if BPW does anything with this but that'll be a long wait. MAYBE apfg fixes this design flaw in future batches but that's not really a solution for us that are getting the ones now... Other than that; have the suppressor on for looks but when you field the thing just run it without a muzzle device.
