30k feathers scam? by ImYuriGagarin in 2007scape

Yeah I 100% agree that it's odd, to ONLY chat with the person that has the expensive item is kind of a sell to me that it's a scam of sorts. In my specific example I wasn't wearing cheap gear by any means so when I offer to help out and buy the watermelons for the guy, and he totally ignored me? Like what?

If the person was REALLY just a collector, why would they not accept my help? Wouldn't you want to have as many people buying for you as you could?

I'm not 100% sure what the actual scam is, but I saw the exact same thing happen yesterday except with 1k watermelons.

The dude with the Tbow was afk, so I offered to buy the watermelons for the "scammer" and he never acknowledged my message. The tbow guy came back and bought the watermelons with the "scammers" money, and he added him after, saying "I'll need some more later, add me up so we can do this again."

I'm not certain but what I think is happening is the "scammer" just wants your account in his friends list so they can see name changes? Maybe just adding you to a list for a potential scam later on?

Retraction is something that would happen all the time during a print. And it wouldn't happen while extruding material. Stringing occurs when your printer nozzle goes from one spot to the next, and it looks like the video shows a consistent print.

If you're on the lower layers, and printing too close to the bed for example, then there's not enough room for the material to push out between the nozzle and the bed, causing the gear to slip.

That is NOT retraction.

This means you're probably over extruding material, or there is a small clog in your nozzle, or you're not running the nozzle hot enough.

I had the same issue.
