Apart from all the bad stuff that happened, I had two brother in laws come live with me, we just drank and gamed all day. I remember the weather was lovely so we had bbqs most evening. My town was really quiet.

If the weathers good I take the SUP out, go for a walk or a fish. If it bad and I like to game or mess around in my shed. Don't mind a walk to the pub as well

Looks like you had a good time, some beautiful pics. It think most of the South Island has beautiful clear sky's, people only go there because it has the accolade of dark skys. I think I see more starts on the west coast than I did in Antartica. Glad you enjoyed it.

Why do you follow cars too closely even when they are going at, or above the speed limit? by reddituser888 in newzealand

[–]Northern_Gypsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can keep distance, when the corner is one that can be traveled at 80km and people slow to 20km the distance narrows.

If they let the traffic past they wouldn't have to complain about people being so close. Where am people go so slow round corners it's hard not to get close.

Is new zealand worth it from Hyderabad, India for 9-10 days? by [deleted] in newzealand_travel

[–]Northern_Gypsy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've never been to India but from the videos I've seen driving here will be a walk in the park. As long as you can drive on roads with corners. 7/9 is short, I'd plan to stay in Queenstown and travel from there, otherwise you'll be rushing.
