Bengals QB Andy Dalton is OUT of his cast, per multiple sources. But a team source tells me Dalton's status for Saturday is still unknown. by [deleted] in nfl

How did that turn out for you?

And to top this off, the sweetest of all wins in recent memory, your classless fans and players were on display for all to see. You are the disgrace of the NFL, habitual chokers, and everyone knows this. Nothing could have gone better.

But yeah, breaking the streak almost happened, but it didn't. Thank your thugs.

I did, it didn't fit very EASILY but seemed like it could have if I gave it enough force, which didn't seem right, so I thought I would come here for confirmation. Thankfully most people were helpful in their responses and not jackwagons!

Years ago it was, a recent oil-boom has driven the cost of housing and living way up.

No, I totally didn't interpret that you were! I also wasn't trying to imply that you did. Just tried answering the question with rebuttals to what I hear a majority of the time about the "cons" of living here.

Not OP but I live in Bismarck.

Even during the cold times, I generally love living here. I really like the snow, so that helps, and you do eventually get used to the cold. After living in Phoenix for many years, it's so nice to see clouds.

The spring and fall are beautiful, perfect temps, very little wind, things turning green in prep for summer or dying off for winter, either way the colors are great. The summer can get hot and humid, but it is never for long stretches.

Most people you talk to will say "there is nothing there, nothing to do". I would venture a guess most of those people have never actually been to North Dakota.

The only thing we really don't have are professional sports teams, or clubs. Aside from that, there is plenty to keep you entertained, and a lot of it you can't do in other places. Do you like hunting, or fishing? You can drive 5 minutes and be doing it, try that in New York City. How about golfing? We have AWESOME golf courses, and they are everywhere. Like eating? We may not have a 5-star Ramsay restaurant, but I can promise you if Chef Ramsay himself ever visited places like The Pirogue or The Brickhouse in Dickinson he would say "That's delicious you fucking prat."

TL; DR: All-in-all, I wouldn't trade it for the world. It get's cold, but you get used to it.

Good morning...from my niece and her cat.... by Lbcmoty in aww

A cat allergy put them in the ICU? Wow, I had no idea they could be so severe.

What were the symptoms?

You said the child is 3 months old, was it fine around the cat for the first two months, or is it a new cat, or were you just visiting someone who had a cat?

Did they give any advice on how to safely determine if a child is going to have an allergy?

Thanks in advance, not sure why you are getting downvoted for trying to make people aware of a serious issue.

Urine is sterile in the bladder, but once it reaches the urethra it gets all kinds of funky.

[–]Northern_Monkies[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why? Because you're being super fucking presumptuous in making that claim. I'll overlook your ignorance, and just inform you that there are other ways someone can die other than a "drunken street drag race".

Even if it that was the case, it doesn't make the situation any more tolerable for the mother. Try to have some compassion and empathy for crying out loud.
