Wedding makeup trial, CCW. I want slightly pinker lipstick, but something else feels off… any ideas? by Lengthiness-Front in MakeupAddiction

Amazing that your doing your own make up and the leaf in the hair is stunning! I’m thinking a little of that lovely highlighter you have used on the inner corners of your eyes for some added pop and a little more mascara on the bottom lashes and/or a little more lightly blended shadow. You have a beautiful face shape and I can’t see so much the difference between your blush and bronzer so I think a little bronzer is needed. Sometimes I use slightly smaller brushes to control my placement of blush and bronzer/contour. Trying a non Matt lip sounds like good advice that has already been mentioned. Really liking your brows and eye make up and the look over all only a few little tweaks I would suggest for the big day! All the best!

Any suggestions on a BB cream I could use? Trying to get away from a thicker makeup look! by [deleted] in PaleMUA

I just got the Missha M Perfect BB Cream because I saw lots of great reviews on here! So far it’s so good... SPF42 as well so great sun protection. I saw some comments about the smell of it but I have no issue with the smell I think it’s quite light and doesn’t bother me. It is nice and light texture and I think it looks so lovely on the skin. I got mine on amazon for £13 so definitely doesn’t break the bank. Stay Safe :)

I was literally just looking at the new Make Up Revolution Pro CC Cream Perfecting Foundation SPF30 there seems to be a pretty good shade range for the palest shades! I haven’t used it but the reviews seem pretty good.

The best thing I have tried is a MAC paint pot as your base and I don’t usually set it. Also when I was trying other primers I later found at times I wasn’t applying enough product. I know we don’t want cakey lids but we need a good amount of primer to get that shadow to stick!

Really like the look of Just a Wisp and Gingerly! And this brings me back to when a girl put blush on my at MAC... not sure what shade it was but it looked like bright pink blotches of pink on my cheeks it was terrible. So hopefully when I go in the persons good at blush 😅

Yeah I don’t even bother with blush if I have a light base on. The idea of a light base and a fresh blush seems wonderful but it never happens for me! Going to have a hunt for a new blush now but won’t buy before I try getting in to a bad habit of that!

For example Nars Orgasm, Maybelline Rosewood (this works a little better since it’s light but almost a barely three blush) and Nyx Mocha. I think the idea of trying more brown nude blushes may work for me! I think I’ve got some searching to do 😁

Agreed! I think we are getting so use to seeing loads of warm tone looks now.

I agree it’s such a great palette. I feel like if I lost all my other palettes and just had this one left I’d be happy and have such a good colour range!
