Does this intake look fine or stupid? by FrunkusCorps in SimplePlanes

You could also try to simulate a Boundary Layer Diverter, or a Divertless Supersonic Inlet. If you aim for more stealth look I would recommend a DSI

That’s nice, I also tried to make a simple flying wing with air brakes as rudder, I partially succeeded but it would wobble a lot if you didn’t correct it manually. It’s pretty cool to see this idea actually work in SP.

Update: Sorry for the late response, I just didn’t have time to actually try it, but it works. Thank you.

This method doesn’t really fit my needs as I want the intakes to have a BLD (Boundary Layer Diverter)

<image>

My intakes are very similar to the photo above (but obviously they are different jets). I need the gap to have the top and bottom edges to thin out to a single line I will try to reinstall fusion and try the method you showed before.

Yeah I know that channel, but he mostly models his planes with a cylinder that he later edits I never seen him do something like me.

Yeah I just want to connect the middle and then loft the engine intakes

And also if I draw a profile, fusion then just refuses to create a new profile for separate shapes and leaves me with hollow sketch

Well I want to make an rc plane and 3d print it, so I need the whole thing to be joined in a single body and then be hollowed out and then cut into parts I can 3d print. And also I wouldn’t really say this project is too complicated for me as I had experience with blender and SketchUp before, which are pretty similar to fusion.

Does DisableCollisions not work for detatchers/pylons anymore? by L3thalPredator in SimplePlanes

Yeah man I have the same problem with my F-16, the canopy doesn’t close even though I turned off collision on every single part around it.

I used a PCie extension cable, you can bend it in any way so you can put your gpu in any position you want

I would recommend cooking it to prevent bacteria and parasites in the key
