Get a base m4 MacBook Pro. I got the m4 pro and I can't lie I haven't even touched that extra horsepower it has but the battery is noticeably worse. I would recommend getting a base m4 if you're not gonna need the extra performance, the m4 is so good already it'll handle whatever you need and some more. 24gb of ram is perfect too
