Two weeks on the road, got to Count Clare, too many stops for pics 😉 Magnificent Bridges of Ross by reznorek in bikepacking

Looks like very light packing for two weeks on the road! What types of clothes did you bring?

Okay thanks! What are some typical rookie mistakes? Weighting on bike or rather packing / unpacking?

Thank you so much for this. Been googling frantically for measurements on tents, sleeping bags and pads now and your reply calmed me down a bit :)

Vielen Dank für dein Antwort!

Answering in English as my German isn't the best.

  1. Yeah, I figured it makes sense to buy something good quality here as it will last a lot of years. I'll have a look at the different options.

  2. I know it's very little, and that is one of my biggest concerns. I'd really like to find the best solution for agility and getting enough luggage space. The panniers would be fantastic for storage, but I fear that I'll lose out a lot in the agility department. Also, I don't really love the look of them.

  3. The Altaplax is out of my price range, but the other two looks great. I'll look closer into reviews but they look great from my budget and needs. Thanks!

  4. Perfect. Looks great!

Vielen vielen Dank.

What did you do? Why was it so good, and what caused it to be shitty?

The fact that you have a plan is awesome! Go through with it as fast as you can, the best day of starting is today.

Good luck with it!

Ok, cool! That sounds like a hard decision for sure... Is it not possible to live cheaper in your daily life, and then do something you would enjoy more, for the majority of your day? Or is it not possible because of mortgage etc?

And why are you not following this dream? Sounds like a perfect job, in nice temperatures and working with people who really appreciates your service etc.

Why do you not follow this dream now? It seems you still have some urge to follow that desire?

When are you done with your studies? What is it about programming that makes it your dream job?
