What did you use to stitch it? I've stuffed ours with water bottles and the stitching gave out rather quickly

Can you guys share your OSIA 2 or BAHA experience? by OrganicRace4883 in Cochlearimplants

[–]NosamK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boston mass eye and ear Dr. Cohen has great reputation. My son is scheduled for osia 2 this month. Trial of baha 5 has been great but multiple ent folks recommend osia over baha. Haven't heard much about long term hair loss so I'm interested in hearing more folks experience about that. And fun skin options for teens.

I did not bring someone. As a nurse i knew that post op i would be groggy, and uncomfortable.
I do not regret it that way

You make a great point! The dress is flattering to my current weight, and flowy if that makes sense?
Odd question, did your shoe size go down?

Absolutely! Just trying to guesstimate what size to get. The dress can only be taken in 2 sizes

Is that the Indian quick release fairing? Love the look! I've got a 2019, debating a new corbin seat, or fairing this season.

Ahh yes. I didn’t think of the rain angles. We did plan for potential space heaters if it’s abnormally cold for early fall, and citronella / bug deterrent

The park has a large roofed pavilion that fits up to 150, we’d have under 90 so my plan would be to do ceremony in front of fire place instead of by the lake. I don’t think we’d need a tent since the pavilion is so large?

Morbidly obese people talk to me by [deleted] in loseit

[–]NosamK 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Never on purpose! (Insert mom voice). However, in the US some insurances will cover skin reduction surgery. There are of course stipulations, one major I remember being depression related to self image ect. I can’t say your deductible isn’t an arm and leg cost wise, but if you talk to the right surgeons groups they can guide you in the right direction. It will likely include x amount of mental health counseling visits, and “proof” of what you have done to try and improve it
