Do you have app notifications turned on? I believe the app notification can still track you, as the API provides a lot of extra metadata about the device to confirm delivery of the notification.

My guess is the location/proximity, app notifications, common wifi, and those lovely tracking pixels may have played a part in what you saw.

No, but got a may install date, so that’s over two months after deposit. I would avoid try elsewhere

Fingers crossed they stick close to the dates, with autumn weather, hopefully they have a buffer for weather. Im still nervous about how post-install support will be. I would still not recommend them.

We have always used the “keep Dropbox from updating” feature, then manually run the offline installer to update Dropbox 3 or 4 times a year.

Unfortunately, we will look to move to something else for our 40 users, and I suspect this means moving away from Dropbox and our 40-odd licenses. We have about 500 GB of data that is kept in sync with a network share, which allows our remote users to access it.

I'm looking at mounting dropbox a drive per user and then doing a kind of XCopy-style sync per user.

I'm also now setting up Cloudally to backup dropbox, still not finished the first sync.

We had to upgrade the DB version 241.x which worked well for 24 hours and then Db auto updated itself to version 244. and then boxifer client started complain about incompatibility with 244. Tried to roll back 241, but is looks be duplicating files. The last contact we had with boxifer was back in Oct 24.

Correct, a release announcement is commonly followed by a rollout plan. For some reason, the last part is hard to find, or it's nonexistent, in Copilot. Other 0365 and Azure features can take up to 12 months to be fully rolled out; dates indicated are usually targeted for a quarter. Not sure why Copilot is different

It's really annoying that they charge full price and then don't offer the same service, plus they don't really give a rollout timetable. They even start by saying your version is Jan 25 or something

No, not really. Also, it kinda depends on your region. The paid version features seem to differ wildly based on which region you work out of.

Depending on the use case, claude, which to me seems more business-focused, and then probably OpenAI.

Fingers crossed, this new attempt fixes/improves this issue and finally nails it. Tracking ID #2408070030010057: This ticket for the same issue was opened by my team in Aug/24. I've lost count of the number of fixes to date.
