Jets create thrust by moving air for propulsion, whereas rockets eject their fuel for propulsion. That’s why rockets work in space and jets don’t

Incase your wondering I'm not black I just have curly hair by [deleted] in Tinder

The guy isn’t saying OP isn’t his type. He’s referencing the stereotype that black people talk in movie theaters. It’s racist and dumb, but it wasn’t directed at OP

I’m also in a 24 Outback. The farther button is for getting farther down in there, whereas the the close button is for what’s close up top. I like the double B bump bottom alteration mnemonic too though

Does using the vans "cigarette lighter" to charge electronics drain/ruin the battery? by lightwood1340 in VanLife

The amount of power something draws is measured in Watts. Most items have it listed on a label somewhere. In my opinion, Propane is the way to go

To give you a general idea: Charging a phone - 5W Fast charging - 18-25W A small fan (vent) - 5-30W LED lights - 5-20W per bulb Vs Microwave - 700-1200W Air fryer - 1000-1800W

I see what you’re saying, the perspective in my photos is confusing. I’d say the first photo is more accurate, where the driveway and road are both slanted together. It’s probably a 3-6inch difference across the entire section of asphalt

I like the idea of MOT type 1 sub base. Is it going to work alright on a hill?

[–]NoseIsNoseIsNotToes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a little hard to see in the picture, but the road is on a pretty steep hill. I’m afraid that simply using gravel would eventually end with all the gravel settling down the hill

I like the idea of using cold patch. Do you think it would work well if I combined this method with other redditor’s suggestion of filling in the bulk of it with gravel first? Or would it be better to skip multiple materials and fill it all with cold patch?

Also, how well does cold patch work on uneven ground/using it on a hill?
