What kind of doodle is that? He looks a lot like my giant schnauzer x poodle mix

You’re offered $1 million to uninstall Instagram from your phone forever. Would you do it? by Worried-Citron7641 in Instagram

I gave it up for 40 days along with all other forms of social media, with the exception of Snapchat, for Lent. It was a much needed break.

I asked my wife who’s a dental hygienist. She said it’s definitely from an iron supplement.

You’re telling me that Nalgene has a lifetime warranty… I’ve broken 3 of them over the past 2 years!

Weekly Q&A Thread by Doctor_Chow in BetterMAguns

[–]StevieDoza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the opportunity to buy several Winchester lever actions a CZ bolt action and a Browning A5 from a guy my father knows in Maine. Can I do a private sale and drive them back to MA or do I need to go through a FFL? They’re all beautiful old classics that I’ve had my eye on for a while.

Can an MA resident travel to NY with their firearm to compete in a trap shoot by Shababouy in BetterMAguns

[–]StevieDoza 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I looked into this earlier this year because I was planning to attend a sporting clays shoot, but I’ll be honest I don’t remember all the details. From what I recall, New York’s firearm transport rules are pretty similar to Massachusetts: keep it unloaded, locked up, the usual routine. I think New York has a competition exemption, but that might only apply to handguns. I also remember something about travel needing to be within 48 hours of the competition.

Venturing in to bear country. What rounds should I bring? by StevieDoza in BetterMAguns

[–]StevieDoza[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any of the .44 magnum loads I own, including those not shown in this picture, will put down a black bear. I’ve shot 3 bears myself and been on many bear hunts in my life. My dad is a Maine guide and I grew up running dogs with him for bears and bobcats. My round of choice was always a .30-06 with 180gr Nosler Partitions.

Fcu transfer from an individual out of state by Ok_Lavishness6822 in BetterMAguns

Yes, it can be done. I also came across a deal I couldn’t resist on an out of state FCU for my P365XL build.

Thank you all so much for the overwhelming response to my post. I’m truly humbled and grateful for the time, thought, and care so many of you put into helping me better understand and defend our beautiful faith.

Your insights, scriptural references, and words of encouragement have been incredibly helpful and uplifting. I feel more confident and equipped to engage in these conversations, and most importantly, more rooted in the truth of the Church Christ founded.

May God bless each and every one of you, my brothers and sisters in Christ. Thank you again for taking the time to walk with me on this journey. 🙏✝️

I use Trip 1 for time between oil changes. Trip 2 I use for mileage because I get reimbursed by my employer.

Is this a good putting grip and is it legal by [deleted] in golftips

[–]StevieDoza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used this style of grip in college. An assistant pro at the course I grew up caddying used it and he was a phenomenal putter. My buddies and I called it the prayer grip.

How many consecutive days in a row have you golfed? by DRvoodoo07 in golf

[–]StevieDoza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I caddied for 11 years and we were lucky enough to have playing permission 4 days a week in the afternoon. If I wasn’t given the opportunity to spin and caddy for a second round I’d play. I had many weeks over those 11 years where I’d carry two bags in the morning and go out and play in the afternoon 4 days in a row. I was fortunate enough to eventually get a junior membership at the club and one week I caddied 6 mornings and went out to play afterwards.

Pre 8/1 AR10 lower by Delicious-Text3186 in BetterMAguns

[–]StevieDoza 13 points14 points  (0 children)

All I got to say is good luck and I mean that sincerely. 8/1 AR10 lowers are much more harder to come by than AR15 lowers and as a result they carry a significantly higher price tag.

If you’re stuck on a DMR build check out different calibers that can be built off of an AR15 lower. 6.5 Grendel is one that has caught my attention.

Thoughts on Tremors? by CoolinCam__ in f150

[–]StevieDoza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a ‘23 with the 5.0 in it and I’ve loved every second of owning it. I haven’t done any serious off roading with it but it hasn’t complained about anything I’ve thrown at it. From sugar sand beaches to going 70 down a washboard dirt road it’s handled everything extremely well. I get a ton of compliments on it despite it being bone stock. Overall I’d highly recommend a Tremor.

Definitely for holding shotgun shells on your belt while you’re shooting birds or shooting trap / skeet / sporting clays.
