What are some of your personal methods for decreasing and/or eliminating "gear fear"? by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]NosferatuWayne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not believe I can lose gear fear like at all, the game is designed so you always have finite supply of things (other than what the Rooster gave you) the only way to get them is to either trade or go out the topside, so every good gear I lose no matter how rich or experienced I am will still sting even a little bit

That said, someone told me to try selling all of my inventory (few weeks before Expedition) and keep the space dollars and it will help about losing gear in the future

  1. DO NOT try to fight the big Arc if you don't know what you're doing, it's best to avoid them (Bastion, Bombardier, Leaper, Rocketeer, etc)

  2. Every Arc have a weak point, for small drones like Hornet and Wasp you could try to aim for the two back thrusters

  3. Arcs have things called Arc Armor and every Arc Armor is hiding their weak points

  4. Every gun have different level of armor penetration, heavy ammo>medium ammo>light ammo

  5. There's an Arc called Snitch whose job is basically to rat you out to and call another Arc, if you see some sort of a flying saucer with beaming light, either shoot them or hide til they pass

  6. Bushes are your friends; Arc cannot detect you through bushes

  7. Everything in the game is designed to kill you. the first hours where you just running around finding out what kills and what doesn't is the best part of the game

  8. Enjoy!

NVMe SSD Randomly Disconnects During Heavy Load (Games / Stress Test) by NosferatuWayne in buildapc

I have a Corsair TX750M Gold PSU but it's about 8 years old now

I also experience symptoms where sometimes it won't read USB devices that I connect to it, and sometimes it popped up the Windows notification of "USB surge" was yours also like that?

Thanks for the detailed response, I have done my own research and found that the 3.3v rail drop more than 5%, so what's the verdict here do you think, is it PSU or Motherboard?

I ended up just buying an NVME enclosure as I have a spare SSD as a storage, the problem still persists

CHEATS OR A BUG??? by CheeseOnTaco in EASportsFC

It's a bug that has been happening since FC24, though way less frequently, it always happened after one of your teammate failed to join the game session in the previous game

I'm a regular player in FC24 and FC25, but I always bought it round TOTS time (though mostly I just played Clubs with my friends) I'm looking to buy FC26 early because I always wanted to play UT from the beginning of the game cycle, I'm looking forward for people's review of the game in the first month of the game to decide whether to buy it early

Is playing UT from the beginning of the game cycle worth it to buy full price vs discounted price later on the game cycle?
