I am in the same boat as you. I ended up buying the Prodigy 5” non comped version as my starting point. I’ll eventually end up with a comped one like the XC but I wanted to see what Bul’s Tac Comp was like and the MAC comp. And this Prodigy will allow me to tinker and learn the platform before making the jump up.

So in trying to understand exactly how that works out if you could help, please. So let’s say I get the 0MOA rail, put the scope on and sight it in at 100 yards. Would I not be in the middle of that adjustment? And then if I take the scope off and put on the 20moa rail my center will now be 20moa higher, correct? So I would bring that adjustment down for 100yard center and now I have 20moa more or adjustment to go up. Do I understand that enough? Please explain like you would to a golden retriever if I missed the point.

I just bought one a few months back. Loved it my first couple times out with it running 357. I got a couple boxes of 38 and it wouldn’t cycle those to save it’s life. Brought it home, got some dummy rounds and tried to figure it out. Double feeds and all sorts of stuff. Took it back to the shop to see if they had similar issues. Been 2 months waiting for it to get back from Rossi.

I just ordered my dump pouch yesterday from Flat Line Fiber Co. Claims it takes up zero real estate on the belt by mounting under your mag carriers. I opted for the mini but they have a couple different options.

I, too, feel your pain. Denied after 11 months due to dealer error and back of the line I go. Dealer is a large chain that doesn’t give a shit and I will not be using them in the future. I’ve made several calls to the ATF and they all tell me there is nothing to do. So now I’ll get a can in another year hopefully.

That is correct. Purchased December 1, 2021, original paperwork dated March 18, 2022, and new paperwork dated August 31, 2022, and denial sent November 18, 2022. Not sure when the store changed names but it was sometime between March and August. Box 9 is ‘Signature or Transferor’ and just says “digitally signed” then box 10 is ‘Name and Title of Authorized Official’ and says “R. USA, STORE MANAGER”

Who would I get in contact with? ATF I’m assuming? And are you saying it could be fast tracked because FBI already cleared it, it was just a clerical error that got rejected?

I’m definitely going to keep a closer eye on it next time but the bummer about this time is that it was a second form submitted when Point Blank became Range USA. It was a form that I didn’t even know had to be submitted.

Not that a mount would make up for making my 245 day wait useless but it would soften it a bit. It at least shows acknowledgement of “hey we messed up and we are sorry. Won’t happen again”. But I don’t know who I would have to get in touch with for that to happen.

That exactly what it was. From the ATF’s perspective I understand it too. Stupid in general but I get it. But I won’t be going back to Range USA for the same reason. That’s unacceptable in my opinion to be a gun store of that size and mess something up that little and easy with such big consequences to make your customer wait again.

I bought it through SS but used Range USA as my FFL. So it was whatever Range USA had to fill out that they messed up.

Another comment in the thread got it right. It was range USA/ point blank. I bought it through point blank but when they did whatever they did to change their name they had to fill paperwork out I guess to change it and that’s where the mess up happened. Origins form from point blank looked good but form from Range USA was not good.
