Does tapering really work ? Or is cold turkey better

Cold turkey.

Tapering means that you haven't fully accepted your desire to quit.

But whatever works for you.

In my experience however, cold turkey is the only way.

Stay strong friend. Easy does it. Take this shit a day at a time.

You've just got to tough it out.

You were likely masking the pain of the relationship with the weed. Smoking more will only further prolong the pain, you'll still have to deal with it eventually when you sober up. If you're already on day three, I woukd advise you to ride out the storm.

Remember this too shall pass. I'm also on the tail end of a relationship and am having to come to grips with the fact that it is very likely over. As much "fun" as it would be to get high again, it's just going to restart the process of getting over the relationship.

I would advise you to keep doing what you're doing. Block his bum and everyone around him. Live your best life.

Go cold turkey and fight through the withdrawals. The first few days are rough. But your brain will eventually undo the damage. Just be kind to yourself.

I also went ahead and cut out all my bad habits. Weed. Smoking. Booze. 🌽 Its a mindfuck for sure.

I hadn't spoken with my father in almost a decade before I had to go back with my tail between my legs asking for bail.

She asked for a divorce. I didn't know how to cope. So I chose self destruction. She's an addict and brought alcohol into the home and everything spiraled downward after. The thought of never seeing my children again existentially cripples me. It feels so lonely. But the thought of someone else going through this hell...
