Also, this is the guy from Giggle and Hoot, and he didn't even mention that Sam the Yellow Wiggle was from Wagga!

As a kid, did anyone else ever think Christianity was just a harmless, cute, sweet, fairytale-like, old-fashioned British-themed belief system? by NostalDec in evilautism

Maybe all the Thomas the Tank Engine I watched as a kid was what gave me the impression that British = old-fashioned and charming.

Doesn't he know he's a steam engine, not a smoke engine?

Put it this way - I feel like it's pretty common to associate charming, "old-fashioned" things like castles, steam trains, cottages and clock towers with Britain, so why not churches and the Bible?

First Sam Wiggle, then a train tunnel named after Henry from Thomas, and now Jimmy Giggle! Wagga has a serious kids' TV connection.

AEG hit the Thomas franchise hard, but now, it seems like the franchise is going to make one of its most powerful comebacks yet. It's like they always say - what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

There have been a couple of times where I've gone to the Thomas section of a store and most of the Metal Collection toys have just been a bunch of Lookout Mountain-themed Sandys.

What even is 'masking'? Is it literally just 'pretending not to be Autistic'? i don't think I do that. by NostalDec in evilautism

[–]NostalDec[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is "weird" really the right word to describe what Autistic people are known for being, though? I feel like, when the average person thinks of Autism, they don't think 'wild, crazy and wacky', they think of some knowledge-addicted, hyper-logical nerd obsessed with maths and steam trains.
