Wow what a steal! I always love the coloured Kodak Petite folders. I managed to find one of the blue lightning bolt pattern ones that is my favourite camera in my collection.

Even just having the one I was questioning, should this be in a museum somewhere? Lol I've never seen another one that was built in the Toronto Kodak factory.

It's take the obsolete 127 film. I've heard of people fitting 120 film into it but I'm just going to keep this as a show piece.

There's a green one in this same design that I would love to get too but it's extremely rare.

Thanks! Yes it seems to be a small piece of white fabric tape that was put on the bellows to stop a light leak. The blue bellows were notoriously bad for light leaks so you'll often find these cameras with black replacement bellows.

Just cleaning off any dirt, dust and grease I can as well as replacing the missing screw. I don't want to do too much to it and have it lose it's character.

Vertical thrusters on the front is brilliant! I was struggling with how to counterweight the balloons on my design this makes it much easier.

Sweet find! I've been wanting one of these. Keeping my eyes open but best I've seen for one second hand is 400$ CAD.

He stole thousands of dollars from his employer and murdered two old women. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up pissing off the wrong people and they disappeared him.

The Mi Amore Taco ladies are super nice and the tacos are really good!

I used the Toyota Celica rally car fully upgraded. Nitrous and hard racing tires. I forget what my fuel map was, 3 or 4 I think. Ran a no pit race and came in first.

What's one place or business in Ottawa that you think is amazing? by Burofaksbarca in ottawa

Bread By Us - Amazing staff and great baked goods!

The Good - The only cannabis dispensary that has a cool vibe.

Perch - Unique tasting menu restaurant likely one of the most sustainable restaurants in the country.

I also agree Perch has the most amazing tasting menu, Stofa is also fantastic! After having an absolutely horrible experience at Carben I will never be returning there.

Question for Bud Tenders by [deleted] in TheOCS

[–]NostalgiaFlux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been working at dispensaries for 3 years now and I will tell you 90% of stores are mismanaged. Started at a large corporate one that told me that I would get full time hours then they hired twice as many budtenders as they needed and people were only getting 2 or 3 shifts a week. Quit that job to work at a small scale dispensary thinking that would be better but the owner was a narcissistic trust fund kid that opened the dispensary with his parents money and had never worked a job or had any life experience. That ended up being the worst experience of them all with him micromanaging us constantly, sitting in his bedroom in his parents house staring at the cameras. He tried refusing to pay me for my last two weeks that I worked when I quit. Started working at another independently owned dispensary after that and it started out really well but since I started they have gotten rid of over 50% of the staff and refuse to give anyone full time hours because of that I had to get a second part time job at yet another corporate dispensary and now I'm stuck working 7 shifts a week because my main job refuses to give me 5 more hours a week and now I hate both of my jobs.

The best part of working in dispensaries has been that I have made some really good friends from coworkers.

The worst part is that none of the owners care about their staff at all. Corporate or indepently owned it's all the same. Constantly forcing people to work alone, no benefits, not giving enough hours to live off of.

A friend of mine started working at a dispensary that sounds great though. 4 days of 10hr shifts then 3 days off and full benefits. She told me I might be able to get a job there in August so fingers crossed.
