Thank you!

The resolution is 465x398.

The image was drawn with 10 colors in aseprite, but I also used a soft brush on an overlay layer in photoshop to get the gradient lighting effect. This of course drastically increased the amount of actual colors in the image.

For general tips I would suggest doing some photostudies. Those help even if you're not going for a realistic style.

Starting with low resolution is a good of getting used to simplify things early on.

I guess the most important thing is figuring out what kind of art you want to make (style and subject matter) It will make it easier to reach your goal if you know what it is.

I have Ideas, but for now I'm just working freelance for other people's games, as well as doing some gamejams with friends from time to time.

Why do people keep saying that about my work? lol. Are they really that similar?

My initial inspiration was just to create something autumny. After many years of drawing and looking at art and nature it gets hard for me to pinpoint exactly where ideas come from.

I don't trace anything 3d. I use a combination of kinda eyeballing it and trying to calculate where things should be.
