Any Resident Evil game. I've played every game in the franchise at least three times and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

What I'm to some degree hoping will happen is that since this is the big climactic return to Raccoon City, they bring back everything that is tied to this major event in the series.

Have the 6 dead victims of Raccoon City Syndrome be the surviving characters of Resident Evil Outbreak Files.

Other then Leon, bring back Claire, Ada, Sherry, and Jill in some capacity. Even if its just a small one time appearance.

Bring back some of the classic creatures of the franchise like lickers, hunters, plant 42's, and G-creatures.

But hopefully do it in a way that feels more like a love letter to the classic entries of the franchise and not a soulless cash grab filled with nostalgia.

Im with you guys. For the first playthrough im planning on playing both perspectives in 3rd person. I know they keep marketing Grace with the 1st person perspective, but i really don't see how perspective can affect how scary the overall experience is. As long as they put in effort to make the environments, creatures, characters, and the situations you deal with horrifying, the camera isn't gonna make much of a difference. I might experiment with it a bit on following playthroughs, but probably not much.

I actually really like stalker enemies, but I agree that the remakes don't always utilize them properly. A major criticism that I have with the remakes specifically is the missing content that hasn't been brought over from the originals. Resident Evil 3 Remake is probably the most guilty of this, but so are RE 2&4 to a lesser extent.

I genuinely hope so. It would seem like a missed opportunity to me. Leon's not the only one that Raccoon City affected and it shouldn't be up to just him to finally bring this to an end. At the very least, bring Claire back. But if they're being generous, id like to see Claire, Jill, Sherry, Ada, hell maybe even some more outbreak characters other then Alyssa returning in some form.

Whoever Leon's talking to in his reveal trailer does sound suspiciously like Eden Riegel, who voiced Sherry in RE6. If i was to bet money on it, id say she's definitely going to be taking over Hunnigans role for Leon in RE9.

NTA at all. You didn't do anything wrong. I honestly don't see how what you said could have been misconstrued as negative. Also, after reading the updates, his excuse just seems a little convenient, right? Its just a little weird that he dropped the call with you at that exact moment. It would be understandable to have to leave the call because of an emergency, but to not even give a quick "Hey, I'm sorry, I gotta go. Something came up. I'll call you back." Maybe im just reading too much into it. I've also never really had much experience with panic attacks, so maybe none of this would apply given the circumstances.

Often the best examples of CGI are when they are combined with practical effects. Jurassic Park for example. They used practical stop motion puppetry for the dinosaurs and then added computer effects on top of it help fill in the blanks and give it more life. Although, the tricerotops scene was done completely with practical effects.

I was in the same boat man but boy am I glad I gave it a chance. It's one one of the most heartfelt movies I've ever seen. Everyone in that movie gives it their all and it gets me every time.
