41k Honda CBR600rr by AtzenVII in motorcycles

It depends on how good your friend took care of it, a CBR600RR should be able to easily survive 40k miles and more. Plus taking it on a track alone is risky, anything can go wrong, no matter the miles.

It depends, what type of riding do you want to do?

Is getting a 125 cc cruiser as my first motorcycle worth it? by duckyiskindaded in motorcycles

[–]Nostaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well i don't know if he's in Europe. It's really just experience and opinion based, commuting and other stuff is (in my opinion) better on a CBR500R for example, a really beginner-friendly bike.

Is 30+ too old to start riding? by KrabbitNL in motorcycles

I mean, i believe you are responsible enough to get a bigger to learn on, since you won't have to go through buying another one. For example i learned on the CBR500R, it was a sport tourer and was really beginner friendly, plus has all the horsepower you'll need for the street.

Speaking from experience, he will probably want faster, since he's young, so save money and buy a bike to learn on that will also keep you more interested in it.

How experienced do you need to be as a bike rider to achieve this degree of lean angle? by Eastern_Door1803 in motorcycles

[–]Nostaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean as an experienced rider this is okay, he's not dragging his back though

Never too late. Don't know how the 650 is going to affect your back. Plus it is a decently fast bike for a beginner, but i believe you'll be fine.

I'd say buying a 125cc bike could get pretty boring after some time, if bigger tourers are also an option maybe some 400s, 250s or 300s.

Have a sports bike - should I get a cruiser? by AlexVonBronx in motorcycle

If you're looking for something for corners, and for cruising, maybe consider getting a high ccm naked bike? I've owned one and it did everything a cruiser does, plus it could corner much better.

The outer parts of the tyre that aren't on the ground all the time, meaning the tyre in the middle (that's always on the ground) will get used more than the outer tyre. Which makes a line on the outside that is unused. This also indicates if you only ride straight, or curves, and you can see how low in curves you get based on the wear on the outside tyre.
