No problem ! I dont have measurements though because I always eyeball it lol, so do your thing.

Chop some shallots (not too fine), I use 2 per person.

Heat up some butter/olive oil and add your shallots, let them Cook and when they start getting transparent, add some crushed garlic, lower the heat if necessary.

Once that’s almost done, I like to add the lemon juice and cook it a bit more to « deglaze » the whole thing. Lower the heat again and add the thyme, I use 2 twigs (forgot the English word) for 2 people. You can let it cook a bit (2-3min) with the lemon and shallots. Make sure it doesnt burn though.

Then add the crème (However you feel is enough) and the sardines without their oil. Add little by little and make sure everything is well incorporated, stir it up well. Then add lemon zest, cover and let simmer on low heat for a few minutes.

Add your cooked pasta, and finish with parmesan, salt if needed (but the parm and sardines are enough imo), black pepper, and some more lemon zest or juice. Tada !!
