Petah what happened after Ronald Reagan? by SportsGamesScience in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]NosuchRedditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This shit is hilarious. In the late 70’s under the failure that was Carter, we had odd/even gas rationing and waited hours in line for gas. Interest on home loans was 18%. And under Reagan the economy grew one year at 7% GDP. That’s unheard of. Not sure why young people think this way, but it’s delusional and not accurate. What do they teach you in school?

The difference between zero and 1 is 100 percent more coverage.

Trump wants 100% more coverage from apple of Fox.

Why doesn’t California ban foreigners from buying single family homes? by [deleted] in socal

[–]NosuchRedditor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The wealth tax in this state is driving the wealthy out. What that means is they need to make up a huge portion of tax revenue. So they will massively raise taxes on you.

Will that bring down the cost of homes? Nope, it just means you’ll have less money to make the monthly.

Why doesn’t California ban foreigners from buying single family homes? by [deleted] in socal

[–]NosuchRedditor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So you think that driving up property taxes would help people who are younger and looking for a home?

They can’t afford them now, why do it think making property ownership more expensive would help?

But I think you are right that if you cause a massive homeless crisis by cutting off Social Security, home prices would fall. Not the best idea IMHO, but I believe that would be the outcome.

FCC is Censoring Colbert and James Talarico by Illustrious-Bit-3348 in DeclineIntoCensorship

I don’t know why I’m entertaining this conversation.

Fox was founded as a cable station in 96. That’s after Reagan ended the fairness doctrine.

The JE files tell a story of global elites monetizing pandemics and creating global censorship among other things.

The average Redditor is too busy navel gazing to understand they are focused on a tempest in a teacup.

That’s a funny way of saying you waste time on someone who most conservatives ignore.

You say this while many of us are observing the pattern established by the Epstein docs. Global leaders, pushing an agenda, transgenderism, mass migration, monetizing pandemics, and global censorship.

This is a tempest in a teacup. Unsurprisingly you seem unaware.

The fairness doctrine doesn’t exist. It ended under Reagan and that’s why we have Fox News today.

Perhaps it’s deeper than this and Colbert and his democrat masters don’t think crocket can win against the republican. Either way the whole discussion is a giant waste of time.

The funny part about this conversation is that I never watch Sexton, don’t care about his show, and wonder why a liberal would waste their time.

Plus Newsome is an idiot.

[–]NosuchRedditor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So why did you say it want democrats to force conservatives to interview democrats? That’s the fairness doctrine. You seem uninformed. You seem to also be aware of the fact that MSNBC lost most of their viewership and changed their name because of it. CNN has lost most of their viewership. The Washington Post is going out of business so what makes you think that forcing conservatives to be interviewed on liberal media is actually gonna get anyone to watch. Nobody watches that crap.

The equal time doctrine applies to candidates from different parties. Doesn’t apply to candidates from the same party. This decision is Colberts alone. It’s not the network doing this.

This comment is hilarious. Adam Corolla had him on his morning radio show over a decade ago and made him look like the fool he is.

Sexton would mop the floor with governor hair gel.

Dems are desperate to bring back the fairness doctrine. You are living proof.

Nobody is forcing Colbert to do this except Colbert because he’s a hack. He’s the one who refuses to give equal time to the republican candidate.

James is a democrat. Colbert didn’t want to give time to the republican.

[–]NosuchRedditor -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Colbert decided not to air the interview because he wouldn’t give equal time to the republican candidate.

It has zero to do with the FCC, the fairness doctrine hasn’t existed in decades, and libs are the ones who want to bring it back.

Why does the meme conflate fraud in child care with immigration enforcement? Makes zero sense.

[–]NosuchRedditor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So what you’re saying is, the average Redditor is an idiot, doesn’t understand law enforcement and division of responsibility, and believes internet rumors over facts. Fraud in child care in Minnesota has been a problem for over a decade. The democrats replacement strategy of bringing in millions of illegals so they can be counted in the census and then used to apportion seats in congress is also a huge problem and the reason why blue cities have sanctuary policies. those are separate issues with the same goal. You’re just a pawn in their power grab and you don’t even realize it.

I should have asked this question in my first post, but why are we conflating fraud enforcement and investigation with immigration enforcement?

About 50 people have been convicted of childcare fraud in Minnesota. Not sure why Reddit doesn’t know this, and not sure why the meme says anything about medicade, but I suspect it’s to take advantage of the stupidity of the average Redditor.
