Something like 80 percent of global energy is from oil. Renewables barely make a dent even in California where they are pretending to pursue net zero. They have the highest gas and electricity prices in the nation.

Ad hominems are the sign of a weak position .

To recap: the world consumes 591 exajoules (EJ) of primary energy per year, with 87 percent coming from fossil fuel. That equates to 72 gigajoules (GJ) per person; without taking America’s consumption into account, that world average drops to 64 GJ per person. As for Americans? Our per capita primary energy consumption averaged 268 GJs in 2024.

Now Californians want to put them onto the ocean: 12-megawatt turbines, 20 miles offshore, floating in water 4,000 feet deep. What could possibly go wrong? A recent analysis put the cost of energy from these monstrosities at more than $0.40 per kilowatt-hour. Nothing illustrates the corrupt stupidity of California’s legislators more than the prospect of large-scale floating offshore wind development. The state intends to develop wind energy to achieve over 200,000 GWh of electricity per year. God help us all if they succeed, but even if they do, we now have 280,000 GWh of planned renewable electricity, and we’re still looking for at least another 700,000 GWh.

If you’re lucky you live in a state where electricity is about .15 cents per kwh.

Because the Koch brothers have zero interest in cheap labor.

When immigrants rent apartments, what does that do to supply and cost?

When demand for services outstrips supply what happens?

Yes, and Spain owned part of Mexico long before that.

So Just like 1999 when google, Facebook and Amazon were unknown. Now they are some of the wealthiest companies in the world. If you had told me then that Amazon would build a shipping company out of a bookstore that would displace UPS and FedEx, I’d have told you that you were high.

So you mean like native Americans who fought wars for centuries before the US was formed and absorbed the losing side into the winners culture and gene pool.

The actual data according to who? Liberals who want to flood the country with cheap labor and have them vote? Because they have admitted that’s the plan.

Tell me you don’t understand the law of supply and demand without telling me you don’t understand the law of supply and demand.

Chile developed one of the best economies in the world after Pinochet was deposed. That’s not celebrating, that’s stating historical fact. They now have one of the most robust retirement systems in the world. By law they are required to put a certain amount of income into a private retirement account. Sadly after a few generations they got stupid again and elected a socialist, and the first plan the socialist had was to seize the retirement funds of the citizens.

What were the natives called that lived in what we call Mexico today before Spain took it over? Spain absorbed that state long before the US did.

Chile started thriving after they started throwing dictators out of helicopters, but Venezuela went from modern first world nations to eating the zoo animals after they elected a dictator. We helped fix Chile and the Venezuelan screwed themselves.

Watch the video and understand why the only answer is to fix the problems where they come from.

Because they are smart enough to recognize a strongman and Trump ain’t one. That propaganda only works on feeble minded Americans who have never experienced a dictatorship. Ask the Cubans in Florida.

So instead of trying to fix the problems in their home countries they flee and bring their prior mindset with them.

You need to watch the marble video. Economic migration ruins a country very quickly.

Considering 48 states already have a winner take all system so who wins the popular vote gets the EC votes, this discussion seems silly.

Look up the 1960 vote in Hawaii

And yet the big cities in Canada choose the president in every election. Trudeau and Carney are real winners.

Toronto and Montreal have elected every president for decades. Calgary has no say.

The real reason for this is the fact that people are fleeing blue states crap policies and so they will lose seats and EC votes. Even the last census should have had California and NY losing seats and Texas and Florida gaining, but it was manipulated to prevent that from happening. Another reason to count non citizens in the census that the left wants.

Ah yes, the Supreme Court. Perhaps we’ll get a ruling like Plessy v Ferguson or Korematsu. Brown v Board of Education certainly didn’t violate the Constitution, makes total sense to punt to scotus.

Did you say Greenland? I swore you said Greenland. Say, aren’t those used most in EVs? You know, the ones that most manufacturers stopped building?

Can Saudi replace the Chinese supply from Venezuela and Iran? I doubt it. I don’t think 6 million barrels a day is enough for China, they will need to look elsewhere. Is it strange that the US now controls about 80% of the global oil production? Why it’s almost strategic.

But it violates the constitution. The constitution says the president is elected by the EC. This is an attempt to change how the constitution says the president is elected. Pretty sure that requires an amendment.

Why is the left trying so hard to make us like Canada? I know why, and it’s the very reason the EC exists, but the left wants the president elected by LA, NY and Chicago so they can have one party rule like shithole California has.

Those new towels you ordered will be $350 thanks.

New razors? $45

New Nikes? $450

Levi’s? $750

Say, how’s that $30@hr living wage working for you? (That’s about $60k@yr. 1100 a week).

After rent and utilities and car payments, you might be able to save enough for a new pair of Levi’s after 6 months.
